Tour Description:

Get away from the hustle bustle of the busy Bangkok city and hop on a bike for an unusual adventure in Bangkok. You will get to see a whole new side of Bangkok where you might not realise you are in Bangkok. Get on your bike as we ride along tree lined canals and wooded areas. Cycling through narrow paths and winding trails and immerse yourself to the outskirts of Bangkok. This tour is technically moderate as we will pedal through narrow paths in tiny alleyways and also some dirt tracks off road. Thus, this tour is not suited for novice riders. There are also some main road to cross but worry not as we cross as a group.

We will start the bike tour in the morning with a breezy start. You will need to gather at the meeting point at Khao San Rd before we depart shortly after the briefing and bike fitting. Do take note that it is the peak hour traffic, be sure to arrange your transportation schedule.  As you cycle your way out through the busy city, you will reach the outskirts of Bangkok where tall buildings and skyscrapers are replaced by small wooden houses, lush greeneries. The roads on the outskirts are now narrow concrete paths or dirt tracks. You will get to see vegetation and trees or even small farms managed by the local families. Along the way, you will also get to visit ancient temples that are of historical importance to Thailand such as Wat Chalo and Wat Kaew Fah. Other than that, you can also visit ancient temples overgrown with twisting roots and vines all over the place.

The traffic on the outskirts are much lesser and the locals are very happy to see foreign visitors cycling in their neighbourhood. You can also witness locals paddling their small canal to access their orchards. You will enjoy your lunch at a delicious local eatery before continuing your biking journey. The tropical sun in the afternoon can be very fierce, so we suggest you to use some sunblock or cover your arms and your neck. On our way back to Bangkok we will continue cycling through alleyways and end at the meeting point. Although the tour does not reach all the way to the countryside of Thailand, it still gives you the vibe of countryside along most of the trails.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made 24 hours before departure will incur no cancellation fee
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee
• Cancellations with 3 hours of departure or no shows cannot apply credit to another tour.

• The riding distance is approximately 37 kilometres
• This tour runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
• If you have a group of 4 or more we can also run this trip on other days (subject to availability)

• Older children and teenagers can do this tour if they are experienced bikers and able to spend the whole day out on a bicycle. We do not recommend this tour for young children
• You still need to turn up for the tour if it is raining. It is quite common that it can be raining in one part of the city and not raining in another. So if it's raining at your hotel don't assume it is raining where you will be cycling. Also it is common that the rain falls heavily and for short durations so if it does rain we just wait and continue the tour once the rain stops. We also have plastic rain ponchos for everyone in the case that you do need to ride in the rain. If heavy rains continues until 10.30 am or if there is torrential flooding, you can choose to cancel with full refund or change your tour to another day
• The supplier will recommend the time and meeting point. If the meeting point of your choice is outside of the normal pick-up points then you will be advised to meet at the nearest pick-up point or you will be given directions on how to arrive to the school independently
• Transfer duration above are estimated and subject to traffic and weather condition, and not inclusive of any sightseeing tours
• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
