Tour Description:

One of the things that people love about Thailand will definitely be its local cuisine that makes your mouth waters. Thai cuisine has gained fame throughout the world. Some of the favourites are Tom Yum, Pad Thai, Mango sticky rice, Som Tam and many more. What better to be able to learn some of these traditional Thai dishes from the Thai locals themselves? This culinary experience tour will bring you not only to eat your favourite Thai dishes but also learn how to make them! In addition, cycle through lush green vegetations after a long day of work in the kitchen to relax in the peaceful surroundings.

Just across the Chao Phraya River and a short transfer from Bangkok city, we will reach the inner city oasis. This amazing wilderness can be best reached by a boat ride across Chao Phraya River. This place is also surprisingly left untouched by developers. Coming to this place is like taking a journey back in time. Once in the area, you will get to see lush green vegetation, a maze of canals, small local Thai villages, temples and a tropical jungle. Those who stay here depends on agriculture as their main sources of income. We will get to visit an orchard and vegetable farm to learn how Thai herbs and vegetables are grown. After that, prepare yourselves and get ready to learn how Thai locals make some of their classic dishes. Our friendly chef will some tips and tricks of traditional Thai cuisine. Some of these Thai dishes are actually easy to prepare. Then, sit down and enjoy your own cooking to see whether they are up your own standards.

This trip will have a ride of around 20 kilometres. At the start of the ride, there is a short busy section of the city before we cross the river. After that, we will ride along narrow roads, minor pathways, alleys and pass by temples, gardens and tropical jungles around the area. There are no hills in this ride. However, some of the canal paths are elevated and quite narrow. Thus, we advise anyone to be cautious in these sections. If you are afraid of heights or unstable while riding a bike you might want to reconsider booking this tour. Otherwise, it will be a nice and easy ride!
