Tour Description:

Explore the beautiful nature side of Luang Prabang by visiting the stunning Tad Sae Waterfall that is located a stone’s throw away from Luang Prabang. The prominent times to visit the Tad Sae Waterfall is during the rainy season or during a few weeks after the rain because the waterfall would occasionally experience unequal flow and even no water flow. The best time to visit the Tad Sae Waterfall is during August and all the way through November to dip your toes into the cool pool. The journey would require you to take a 20 minutes drive, followed by a 10 minutes boat ride from downtown Luang Prabang.

The Tad Sae Waterfall has ample of streams to allow water to flow through to create such a spectacular sight that brings a sense of calmness to the mind. Hear the thunderous roar of the water flowing through the streams and feel the mists lightly touching your skin as you swim around the cooling large pools below the waterfall. Admire the beautiful limestone formations that are shaped by years of erosion to form some beautiful rock formations. The atmosphere of the surrounding near the waterfall is serene as it is away from the hustle-and-bustle cities and it is the perfect place to visit for all of the nature-lovers.

After a refreshing swim at the Tad Sae Waterfall, you will have the opportunity to interact with some docile creatures that reside near the luscious jungle that surrounds the waterfall.
