Tour Description:

Day 1 - Luang Prabang / Kuang Si waterfall / Long Lao Fair Trek

Escape the hustle-and-bustle of the ancient city of Luang Prabang behind and traverse to the stunning Kuang Si waterfall. Discover the hidden gem of Laos as you explore the three-tiered Kuang Si waterfall amid gorgeous nature in the tropical jungle. The Kuang Si waterfall is a three-tiered waterfall and it is more than 50 meters high. Relax with the blue waters at the base of the Kuang Si waterfall and watch the descent of the waters through the limestone rocks to create a thunderous sound. Take a dip into the spectacular azure pools with cold water as the waterfall is surrounded by dense tropical jungle. Explore the trails that will take you to the top of the waterfall to have the time of your life at more natural pools. Venture further into the forest through the well-trodden path to stumble upon to the Bear Rescue Center. The Bear Rescue Center aims to rescue and rehabilitate the nearly extinct Asian black bear from the brutal black market and the bears at the rescue centre will have a more happy and fulfilling life.

You will be provided with a delicious lunch, that will replenish your energy for your next adventure. Take the trails that will take you through scenic landscapes to the serene village of Long Lao Mai. Step foot into the Long Lao Mai village, where you can catch the sight of the diligent villagers working along the fields. Interact with the friendly to gain some knowledge of their culture and traditions, which has been around for a long time. Pick up a few words of the Hmong language from interacting with the villagers before heading back to the stunning bungalow. Relax at the eco-friendly bungalow that was constructed by the villagers and volunteers. Before hitting the hay, you will delight yourself with a delicious dinner that is infused with the flavours of Lao, served under the open sky and was made by the villagers.

Day 2 - Long Lao Mai / Luang Prabang

Begin your day by delighting yourself in a delectable breakfast, that will provide some energy to engage with the local people in the village. Embark on a journey to immerse yourself into the Hmong culture, which is mainly practised by the villagers of Long Lao Mai. Take the opportunity to learn about the methods of cooking traditional meals, the process of rice cultivation and also how to weave skillfully from the local artisans. You will have a choice of picking whether to stay at the lovely village for lunch or head back to Luang Prabang, after breakfast. Your journey concludes as you head back to Luang Prabang with some of the most unforgettable memories!

15 - 30 days prior to the tour date, 30% of total package payment incurred.

7 - 14 days prior to the tour date, 50% of total package payment incurred.

1 - 6 days prior to the tour date, 100% of total package payment incurred.

Additional Information:

• Minimum four(4) pax for the tour to be confirmed

• The Eco-Bungalow has to private rooms to accommodate up to 4 people. Each room has a king size bed, loft with two mattresses, western-style bathroom and an enclosed outdoor shower with hot water
• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during the stipulated time
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
