Tour Description:

There is always a certain charm to the beauty and tranquillity of the suburbian and countryside area. Looking around, you come to appreciate the bountiful nature of the surrounding, the vast field that lies before your very eyes and the calm atmosphere surrounding the scenic countryside view of the whole area. Occasionally, you may also wish to say hello and get a much closer look at the local lifestyle of the farmers. After all, it is not every day that you get to visit the countryside, especially during your holiday. Well, you will be happy to know that all of the above can come true through this mountain biking ride down the hill of Bali. In fact, you will get to enjoy both the beautiful view and the rush of a bicycle ride around the Bali countryside as you go down predetermined pathways and roads full of scenic places and unfamiliar panorama. If this sounds like the perfect holiday for you, then you will definitely have to sign up for the trip!

The focus of an Enduro biking style is in speed and timing. Traverse through dense jungle, rough terrain and unpaved roads in record time as you go around Balinese suburbs. First, you will be picked up from your accommodation and be transferred to a centrally located volcanoes. Worry not though, the volcanoes are no longer active so there is no need to be fearful of any seismic activity. Once you are there, gear up for your ride and hydrate yourself before the fun really begins. First, you will pass the forest of Bedugul at the centre of the island with a 5 - 7 km worth of DH / Enduro tracks before shuttling back upwards mid-track. Of course, always keep your eyes out for technical single track, steep downhill and the panoramic view around you as you make your way down the steep hills. There are multiple routes available so feel free to shuttle back up and try a different path on your next ride before stopping for lunch. You should be able to squeeze in 3 - 4 rides before your stomach starts rumbling so give it a go.

With lunch done, you will begin the second session of the adventure in the newly built Jatiluwih. Experience a whole different beauty of the surrounding path as you head down your favourite trails and get shuttled back up to try other paths around the area. Once you are satisfied, you will head back to the city to conclude your tour for the day. Also, do not forget to snap your camera for a day’s worth of toil and cycling.

• This bike ride has an advanced difficulty level
• Tour is suitable for experienced mountain bikers only with great fitness and strong bike handling skills. Riding is primarily on single track. Sections of the trail can be challenging with frequent descents of significant length. Trail conditions can change rapidly due to weather conditions and natural elements. Please make sure you are not choosing a tour that is too difficult for your skill level. This is your vacation, not an army camp!
• This is an Enduro style mountain bike ride with car shuttle up in between the trails
• The type of bike used is:
• A well maintained 2019 Polygon Siskiu T8 bikes (please note that for this ride only our full suspension bikes are suitable).
• The bikes come with standard with flat pedals but we also have Shimano spd pedals available
• There are also Shimano spd shoes available (Shimano ME2) that can be rented at IDR100,000 (US$7) per day. We have sizes 42,43,44 and 45. We will have woman shoes in size 38,39 and 40 available as well later on
• Transfer duration above are estimated and subject to traffic and weather condition, and not inclusive of any sightseeing tours
• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during the stipulated time
