Tour Description:

Tourists flock to this popular island every year to enjoy the beach and sea. There is a huge variety of things that you can do there. From water sports enthusiast to nature lovers, Tioman Island has them all. Dive into pristine waters and discover the beauty of the biodiversity and the large variety of corals that are present. In the jungle, one could be expected to discover a collection of flora and fauna that is unique to the island. Explore the different habitats and creatures that roam freely around these natural wonders.

Day 1 -  Arrival/Check-in/Multi-purpose hall

Start your trip off by getting on a ferry that takes you from Mersing (In Johor) to Tioman Island. The cruise ride across the channel will take under two hours. Alternatively, you may choose to take a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tioman Island. When you have arrived, you will need to find your way to the Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort where our friendly concierge team will be awaiting your arrival. Enjoy a smooth check-in process for your team and head to the rooms with the pool view. Freshen up and head for the next activity. There is the choice of using a multi-purpose hall that is fully furnished with office equipment to conduct an opening address. Refreshments and tea will be provided in the late afternoon. Treat yourself to a buffet or set Dinner with a BBQ Action Stall at the resort and enjoy the evening away before heading back to your room to rest for the evening.

Day 2 - Yoga by the Sea/Rainforest & Mangrove Swamp Walk/Boat Trip to Ringgis Island & Marine Park OR Trekking Trip to Rockfall

Rise and shine to the constant sound of waves crashing onto the shore and prepare for an action-packed day ahead. Go down for a hearty morning breakfast that has a huge variety of food options. You will get the chance to taste some of the local Malayan cuisines that is being served. After that, head down for some activities with the team and have a great time building friendships.

There is an option to head for a snorkelling boat trip to Ringgis Island & Marine Park. Your team will get to experience an action-packed snorkelling adventure at Tioman. There will be a brief outline of events for the day and preparation of the dive equipment before heading out to open sea. You will get to see one of the last two turtle sanctuaries on the island as well as you snorkel. Do also keep your eyes peeled for the vast amount of biodiversity and the seabed filled with coral reefs. Swim beside a school of fish that is just one arm length away from you and enjoy the unique experience.

Alternatively, you can decide to go for a jungle Trekking Trip to Rockfall where you will get to see the lavish tropics. There will be an experienced guide that will be trekking with you and he will share about the practical uses of plants along the unbeaten path of the forest. Furthermore, he will point out interesting features and highlights some unique plants of the surrounding flora and fauna. Tioman Island is also home to many rare animals and the rainforest provides city-dwellers with an uncommon chance to be one with nature. It will be a relaxing afternoon trek and you will get to interact with one another as you walk along the trail.

Furthermore, you will have a team bonding session where you and your teammates can join in a slew of outdoor activities that is facilitated by the resort. These activities helps to promote team unity and cohesion among team members and it helps the team discover the different strengths and weaknesses. This way, you can better understand the group dynamics and build on each other’s strengths and work effectively as a team to achieve. After a long day of activities, head back to the resort for a sumptuous BBQ dinner that will be specially prepared for you and your friends to enjoy before retiring for the evening in your accommodation. 

For this day, a theme lunch will be catered for. Foster closer friendship over food with your peers and enjoy a good dinner at a BBQ session together to end off your trip on a high note.

Day 3 Departure

On the last day, pack your baggage and check out. Head back to the mainland of Malaysia with all the wonderful memories you have created at Tioman Island.

• 4 weeks or more to arrival date : 50% Refund of total value
• Less than 4 weeks : NO Refund

• Official check-in time is 2.00pm and check-out time is 11am. If you are arriving earlier, please inform us in advance. We will try to provide you with a more convenient check-in time if your allotted room is available.

• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• Note: Starting from 1st September 2017, a tourism tax of RM10 per room per night will be imposed on non-Malaysian tourists for all types of hotels and accommodations. This is payable to the hotel upon check-out
