Located 64 kilometres away from the main island of Malaysia, Tioman Island has one of the most beautiful landscapes and is a prime spot for diving. Tourists from all over the world flock to Tioman Island to do scuba diving as there rich biodiversity and vibrant coral reefs. On land, you will find a vast collection of animals that roam this natural habitat. Tioman Island is a great place for a getaway with your team to get supercharged before going back to business as usual.
Day 1 - Arrival/Check-in/Multi-purpose hall
The trip begins with taking a ferry from Mersing (In Johor) to Tioman Island which will take under 2 hours. You can also choose to take a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tioman Island instead. Upon your arrival, you will need to find your way to Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort where our friendly concierge team will be waiting for your arrival. Enjoy a smooth check-in process and freshen up. There is a multi-purpose hall that is fully furnished with the necessity for you. You may choose to do an opening address to or discuss some important business matters there. After a long day of activities, go back to the resort to find a buffet or set Dinner with a BBQ Action Stall waiting for you. Then head back to retire for the evening and rest for the evening.
Day 2 - Yoga by the Sea/Rainforest & Mangrove Swamp Walk/Boat Trip to Ringgis Island & Marine Park OR Trekking Trip to Rockfall
Wake up to the sound of waves hitting the shore and prepare for the day ahead. Head down for a hearty breakfast buffet that has a huge variety of food options. Have a taste of some of the local Malayan cuisine that is being served. Then join some of the activities with the team and have a fun time building friendships.
Firstly, you may want to join a snorkelling boat trip to Ringgis Island & Marine Park. Your team will get to experience the exhilarating feelings of snorkelling in Tioman. The session starts off with a brief outline for the events and preparation for the dive with the equipment that has been prepared for you. You will get to witness one of the last two turtle sanctuaries on the island. Furthermore, you will get to experience a kaleidoscope of coral reefs and swimming beside the school of fish at an arm’s length away. It will be an amazing snorkelling encounter.
Secondly, the team may also decide to go for the Jungle Trekking Trip to Rockfall where you will get to experience the lavish tropics. There will be an experienced guide that will be trekking with you and he will share about the practical uses of the plants along the unbeaten path of the forest. In addition, he will point out interesting features and highlights of the surrounding flora and fauna to you. Home to many rare animals, the rainforest provides city-dwellers with a rare opportunity to be one with nature. It will be a therapeutic afternoon trek.
In addition, there will be some team bonding activities that will be specially tailored for your company. Take part in games and activities that requires you to work together in groups. The activities are created such that you will be needed to work cohesively together and it will help you find out each other’s strengths and weaknesses to help develop the potential in one another. Through these activities you can get to know each other better and to learn to work effectively in different group dynamics. At the end of the day, head back to the resort for a BBQ session to end off the entire trip on a high note.
Day 3 Departure
On the last day, pack your baggage and check out. Head back to the mainland of Malaysia with all the wonderful memories you have created at Tioman Island.
