There is a gorgeous sea of greens, blues and chartreuse swirls that beckons you to paddle, snorkel and dive. So, head down to Tioman Island for a company bonding session with a series of activities!
Day 1 - Arrival/Check-in/Multi-purpose hall
The trip begins with getting on a boat ride from Mersing (In Johor) to Tioman Island, the entire trip is under 2 hours. Alternatively, you may also choose to get on a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tioman Island which will take around 45 minutes. After arriving, you will need to make your way to the Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort, where our friendly concierge team will be awaiting your arrival. Enjoy a smooth check-in process as we would have booked the Deluxe Suite which is on the beach for your team beforehand. Get comfortable in your room and freshen up before heading for the next activity. There is the option of using the fully furnished multi-purpose hall for an introductory welcome or meetings. Some tea and light refreshments will be served after you are done. Dinner will be a set or buffet dinner that comes with a BBQ Action Stall that you can taste the freshness of the seafood. Go back to your room and have a good rest for the evening.
Day 2 - Yoga by the Sea/Rainforest & Mangrove Swamp Walk/Boat Trip to Ringgis Island & Marine Park OR Trekking Trip to Rockfall
Wake up to the roaring sound of waves crashing onto land and the sun rising above the horizon. Prepare for a day filled with activities ahead and head down for a sumptuous breakfast that is prepared by our in-house chef. There will be a wide variety of local cuisine as well as international options, you will get to taste some flavours that are unique to Malaysia. There will be several activities that are organised throughout the day and you can take part in them as a team.
Firstly, you may choose to go for a jungle Trekking Trip to Rockfall where you will get to experience the lavish tropics and vibrant natural habitat of the animals. An experienced guide will lead you through this adventure by trekking the trail with your team. Along the way, he will take the opportunity to share some of the practical uses of plants and herbs that are found in the forest. In addition, he will highlight some of the interesting features of the plant’s flora and fauna and its surroundings. Tioman Island is also home to many rare animals that are unique to the rainforest, you will be able to get up close and personal with these animals. This rainforest experience provides city-dwellers with an uncommon chance to be one with nature and rejuvenate themselves before returning to the city.
You may choose to go for a snorkelling boat trip to Ringgis Island & Marine Park as a team instead. You will need to go through a short briefing that outlines the events for the day and a safety procedure talk, before going to find fitting snorkelling gears. After a check on the weather condition, you will head out to the open waters. Jump into the pristine waters and feel the cold water rushing against your skin along with the feeling of relief from the scorching sun. You will find yourself transported into a new world filled with amazing sights of fishes swimming around and colourful coral reefs. You will be awestruck by the beauty of the environment and the amazing sights that Tioman Island has to offer.
There will be several team building activities that is facilitated by the resort and the team can take part in. These activities will help to give a better insight of the different strengths and weaknesses of your peers and help to work better as a team. The games are created in a way that you will need to communicate with your teammates and accomplish a certain task. Through these activities, teammates can learn how to support and grow together as they put a common objective to be accomplished or achieved. Next, head back to the resort for a BBQ pit dinner to end off the trip on a high note before heading back to the accommodation to rest for the evening.
Day 3 Departure
On the last day, pack your baggage and check out. Head back to the mainland of Malaysia with all the wonderful memories you have created at Tioman Island.
