Tour Description:

Calling all animal lovers for an amazing day touring Singapore’s River Safari and Night Safari! Kick start your journey by visiting the River Safari, located between Singapore’s two award-winning wildlife parks: Singapore Zoo and Night Safari. This 20-acre land is the first of its kind in Asia and is most popular for its freshwater attractions and riverboat ride. The park features a number of animal exhibits with about 5000 animals inhabiting a total of 10 different ecosystems around the world. The safari also houses numerous endangered species such as Mekong freshwater stingrays, anacondas and red pandas.

Get a chance to marvel at the plethora of diverse wildlife at the safari and learn more about the endangered animals that call this park home. One of the main attractions of the park is the Giant panda exhibit, where you can ooh and aah at these majestic creatures from outside of their climate controlled enclosure. Capture photos of the adorable Kai Kai and Jia Jia while you still can as these gorgeous creatures were sent to Singapore as a diplomatic gift from China in 2012 but will be returned after 10 years. You’ll also get to enjoy a relaxing boat ride that circles the perimeter of the River Safari where you might see a multitude of different wildlife such as wild storks or herons.

As dusk falls move on to the world’s first nocturnal zoo, the Night Safari. Explore the expansive land and marvel at the park’s over 2,500 animals with 38 percent of its animals being from endangered species. You have the option of observing the animals on foot or from the comfort of a tram. The guided tram ride takes about 35 minutes and will bring you to seven geographical zones of the world. If you decide to walk the park, there are four different walking trails for you to take. The trails are built to mimic the jungles of Singapore where you can see the largest collection of wildlife indigenous to South East Asia. Get your fill of all the marvelous creatures the Night Safari has to offer before you retire for the night.
