Tour Description:

If you are an adventure seeker that also happens to be a nature lover, then this kayaking experience is definitely catered to you. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or an experienced kayaker, the Pulau Ubin Mangrove Kayaking Adventure can fulfill your need for a splendid adventure that blends nature to make it as a wholesome experience. Your journey will kick off by a short length of open sea kayaking at the beginning. From there on, you will slowly paddle your way to the mangrove waters, a whole new world where you will notice the change in the water current as it is more calm and tranquil here.

Take in the sight and sound of the mangrove as you enjoy the serenity that the mangrove offers. You will be hearing the sound of the bird chirps and water flowing. Beneath those calm and the peaceful environment however lies an ecosystem rich with biodiversity. Practice enhancing your multitasking skill as you kayak while you admire the sights of the lush greenery of the mangrove. Home to some of the uncommon bird species here, you might even catch a glimpse of Kingfishers, Eagles, Hornbills, Herons, and Egrets if you are lucky enough! All these bird species plays an important role in maintaining the balance of the mangroves ecosystem.

Geared with the proper equipment provided by the tour and the guidance from a professionally trained expedition leader, this tour will introduce you to the beauty of kayaking or it could be a great practice to polish your kayaking skills. Level up your kayak game when you take it to the open water to have the best kayaking experience. You will spend half of the four hours by kayaking on water. This four-hour adventure will expose you to the beauty of the hidden nature that is in contrast with the usual city skyline that Singapore offers.

Additional Information:

• Registered name of the traveler must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveler fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• You are advised to wear comfortable sportswear such as t-shirt and shorts, with swimwear underneath
• Covered shoes are mandatory
• You are encouraged to bring a change of fresh clothes, a change of shoes, personal toiletries, personal medication, a bottle of water – we recommend bringing a 1-liter water bottle, keepers for eyewear; if you wear contact lenses, please bring along a pair of your spectacles as well, sunscreen and cash
• Minimum 2 adults for programme to operate
• The programme operates in both dry and wet weather. In the event of bad weather, we will work with our participants for postponement
• Children must be at least 7 years old to participate, and accompanied by an adult
• Participants will be expected to get wet
• For the safety of our participants, a mandatory floatation test will be conducted before kayaking
• For insurance purposes, we require the birth date, nationality, and a national identification card or passport number for each participant
