Tour Description:

Jurong Bird Park holds the title of being the largest bird park in all of Asia, boasting over 600 species of over 800 birds. There is almost never a quiet, dull moment in the park as the air is always filled with the unique and raucous calls of various birds. The bird park is a place for fun and learning and hosts shows as well as feedings alongside showcasing its beautiful avian creatures. It spans over 20.2 hectares of land covered in lush tropical rainforests and dozens of simulated thematic exhibits that enhance the exploration experience of visitors.

Attractions such as the Flamingo Lake, Parrot Paradise, Pelican Cove, Penguin Coast and Swan Lake are exactly as their names suggest: beautiful exhibits meant to mimic the natural habitat of each bird as you would find them in the wild, and the stars themselves, the birds. The Waterfall Aviary hosts one of the world’s tallest artificial waterfalls, Jurong Falls, which looms at a height of 98 feet with powerful cascades of water gushing down. Step into a world full of rainbows at Lory Loft where the colourful birds line up in a row during feeding time, chittering excitedly.

Catch bird shows at different times of the day that show off the talents of trained birds such as the King of the Skies show and the High Flyers show. During the King of the Skies show, view majestic eagles and vultures swooping in from the air for the kill, executing movements of precise calculation. As you watch them you will see for yourself exactly why they are some of the world’s most fearsome predatory birds. While the King of the Skies will have you vibrating in sheer awe, the High Flyers show is a more colourful and joyful one with various species of birds showing off their talents and vying for the position of the best star of the show!
