Tour Description:

The city of Miri is the second largest city in Sarawak. This picturesque city also serves as the very gateway linking Sarawak and Brunei, placing it at a strategic location that is integral to the trading route between Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. With the city facing the South China Sea and located alongside the course of the Miri River, the city is a prime location for some aquatic adventure both in saltwater and freshwater alike. Of course, if you would prefer a more terrestrial and land-bound adventure, you are also welcomed to try out the trekking route amidst the dense primary jungle found along the riverside. All in all, the Bornean tropical forest is teeming with surprises like you have never seen before.

Situated just 40 minutes away from Miri city, the Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort is nestled in the natural settings of a pristine and lush tropical rainforest of the famous Lambir Hills National Park. With a unique collections of jungle trees and insect species, the resort stands along with its neighbouring national park as one of the best places in the vicinity to enjoy the Borneo rainforest! You can hike along the designated foot paths to experience all the sights, enjoy tropical fruits from its local orchard, or even take an educational tour of their domesticated farm animals!

Other activities featured at this resort are recreational activities such as flying fox, kayaking and even fishing (at own expenses). Spend your day exploring and relaxing here before being transferred back to Miri city.

• Transfer duration above are estimated and subject to traffic and weather condition, and not inclusive of any sightseeings
• Recommended to prepare own insect repellent, sunscreen, hiking equipment (glove, torchlight), umbrella, hat or cap and medication
• Wear good trekking shoes and comfortable cotton T-shirt with long or short pants
• Tipping is compulsory (RM 10/pax)
