This laid-back town which was once a busy tin mining town is surrounded by lush tropical rainforests, scenic landscapes, beautiful limestone hills and other wonders of nature. The unspoilt natural environment has appealed to many tourists for a getaway from the busy city life. Adventurous activities such as waterfall abseiling, hiking, whitewater rafting, ATV riding are some of the activities that can be found here in Gopeng.

In this tour, you will be staying overnight within the forest in the way of camping. Camping is one of the best ways to get intimidated with the beautiful nature as you throw away all your troubles in its peace and tranquillity. You will be transferred to the starting point of the rafting, then our professional river guides will brief you on the safety and procedures for the activity. Besides that, our guides will also explain about rafting commands and how to paddle as a guide will accompany you on the raft to give paddling instructions. After the briefing and preparations, gear up with safety equipment, grab your paddles and hope on your boat for an exciting journey. Other than that, you will also go for the waterfall abseiling activity. Waterfall abseiling activity has gradually become more popular among tourists. This activity does not require much physical endurance as you will scale down the waterfall among the splashing waters. You will be brought to the waterfall location for abseiling and our professional guides will conduct a briefing about the activity’s safety and procedure along with some of the tips for waterfall abseiling. After checking all the equipment and gears, get ready for the cold waters of the waterfall splashing onto you as you slowly descend down the tall waterfall. Conquer your fears in this thrilling moment!

There is also a great vantage point in the Gopeng forest that offers an amazing view on sunset. It also allows you to have a comprehensive view of Gopeng’s surrounding landscape. You will join the sunset hiking activity which will lead you to the vantage point mentioned. As you trek through the forests, be alert to spot some of the unique flora and fauna on the way. Our experienced guides will also show you on some of them when they spot it. The trek will be fairly easy but you will need to reach the vantage point before the sun sets. Once you reach the vantage point, enjoy the scenic view of the sunset and also Gopeng’s surroundings.
