Tour Description:

Take a boat out to the glittering green Andaman sea for a few hours of deep sea fishing on your tropical island getaway at Langkawi. If you’ve watched one too many popular TV shows on deep sea fishing and are hesitant to give it a go yourself because you think the waters will be too rough and scary for you, you’d best believe that those shows are dramatized to make for good entertainment. The deep sea fishing that you’ll be doing on this tour will be more relaxing than turbulent, so breathe a sigh of relief!

Deep sea fishing takes place in waters at least 30 metres deep, where the bigger pelagic fish hunt for prey or go about their daily lives. It is said that the allure of deep sea fishing in comparison to any other type of fishing is the thrill of anticipating what will come up on the end of your line. When you throw in your line with your bait hooked to the end of it, there’s no telling what type of fish you’re guaranteed to reel in.

Fresh live bait is your best bet if you’re looking to reel in a real whopper of a fish. These large predators are always hungry and searching for wriggly, smaller prey, so your bait will be sure to entice them. Having a variety of different baits at your disposal will definitely aid you in your fishing venture, too, because if the fish start to bore of your monotonous bait, you’ll end up without a single catch at the end of your trip.

Small bait fish, shrimp and squids are some of the more easily-found live bait that can be used for your deep sea fishing. Now that you have your rod and bait, all you have to do is cast your line and be patient. Patience is key to deep sea fishing, as the big fish may be curious but they’re not all brainless. In their caution, they may take some time to scope out any potential threats before taking your bait, so just wait and keep an eye on your line. When they’re finally convinced that the bait isn’t a trap, they’ll come for it, your line will jerk and you’ll start reeling in your prize!

• Can fit a maximum of 6 persons per deep sea fishing boat
• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• You are required to bring your own fishing rod or rent a Class C fishing rod at an additional price
