Tour Description:

Picture yourself abseiling down a rugged limestone rock face in the thick of a jungle? Lucky for you, Langkawi Island plays home to one of only two rainforest canopy trails in the world. That being said, the beautiful Gunung Raya provides some of the best abseiling cliffs with look-out points, giving you a birds-eye view of some of the most spectacularly lush greenery in sight. If you are bored of hanging around at the beach all day, abseiling is the right thing mix of adrenaline rush, fun and adventure!

For the uninitiated, abseiling, or also known as canyoning or rappelling, is an activity where you will be required to make your way to the grounds from large boulders or trees by scaling down using nothing more than a rope and harness. The set-up for the adventure is in a natural forest which included hiking & little trekking in the natural forest. The scenery during the activity is breathtaking, especially towards the end of the tour when you zip line into a very, very tall tree and there is only one way down. Learn the ropes of canyoning from our well-trained, English-speaking safety instructors as they guide you towards abseiling in a safe manner. In addition to the newly taught safety techniques, be sure to remember to breathe as you make your descent down to the grounds. Some things you have to do look easier than they really are, others look totally scary but are absolutely fun once you take the plunge. If you are really brave, you can even try rap-jumping, an abseiling method facing downwards!
