The marine park constitutes of 42 islands that spans to an area of 250 square-kilometers, where thick tropical rainforest, ancient limestone mountains, waterfalls and lakes are waiting to be uncovered. The access and development of the National Park is very minimal in order to protect the tropical paradise. The picturesque landscapes stretches to every corner of your surrounding with deep blue water that encompasses the islands. The tall limestone cliffs in most islands there are as high as 400 meters, after eons of erosion. The park is blanketed by four different types of forest; the Dry Evergreen Forest, Beach Forest, Limestone Forest and Mangrove Forest, which adds more charm to the protected Ang Thong National Park.

Kick start your morning with a scenic boat ride from the pier to the stunning National Park. Begin your journey of discovery by taking a flight up the pathways and wooden stairs that will lead you to the peak of the mountain. Along the way, you may have a chance to gaze at the various flora and fauna that nestled in the park such as the long-tailed monkeys, otters and iguanas. The forests houses a diverse range of flora and fauna that mutually exist with one another to ensure their survival. The trek in the Mae Koh Island will reward you with the stunning view of a remarkable saltwater lagoon called Emerald Lake (‘Talay Nai’) that is confined within the thick trees and mountains. As you may guess from the name, the lake is emerald-green coloured and is enclosed with sheer limestone mountain . Discover the distinctive features between the four different kinds of forest that humbly neighbours one another while you are exploring the park.

By now, you should be hungry from all the adventure since early in the morning. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet-style lunch on board, while making your way to explore the remaining parts of the park.
