Tour Description:

The Angthong National Marine Park is made up of 42 islands, featuring thick tropical rainforest, ancient limestone mountains, waterfalls and lakes that are waiting to be uncovered. In this tour, you will find yourself marveling at the endless beauty nature has to offer by taking a trip to the spectacular Angthong islands. One of the best way to explore the vast marine park is through kayaking, which is one of the more popular activity to do in Angthong. Begin your adventure starting from the southern end of the Koh Mae island after a light breakfast which will be provided. Traverse through the island on a kayak where you will be enveloped by nature’s best creation with the tall cliffs that holds the luscious vegetations. Delve further into the Angthong islands where you will pass through beautiful rock formations and caves hanging above you with a scenic views that will induce a calming feeling in your heart.

Once you reach ashore, you will hike your way to the next stop which is the Emerald Pool, a green-coloured salt lake that is safely hidden from prying eyes. The unique Emerald Lake is one of the most stunning feature of the Marine Park, that draws visitors from all around the world to catch a glimpse of the lake from a viewpoint that requires a 30 minutes hike using the wooden stairs and paths. Although it is prohibited to swim in the lake, admire and get into a photograph affair with the stunning view of the Emerald Lake. The atmosphere of the lake exudes a sense of serenity while being surrounded by healthy virescent trees being held by tall rocks that stands tall. Sumptuous lunch is provided for you to replenish your energy whilst cruising through the striking sights of the southern Koh Mae island to the northern side of the Angthong Marine Park.

Now that you have replenished your energy, head next to the Koh Tai Plao where you will go on your second kayaking expedition. Gaze at the interesting rock formations constructed from centuries of erosion and paddle through mystical caves. Once you are done with paddling across the clusters of islands, it is time to discover the more hidden gem of the park by snorkeling underwater. Spend your afternoon by exploring the underwater wonder of the protected marine park where you will have a chance to see the aquatic life in its natural habitat. Get up close and personal with the fishes and the colourful marine species that will be swimming closely with you in the sea.
