Tour Description:

Unlike your everyday jungle camp amidst the wilderness, Broga Hill offers you the best of both nature and luxury with its lush forest and top tier accommodation. The hill itself is easily climbed, primarily because the area itself seems to house a limited number of trees. While the cause is never confirmed, it is believed that forest fire might have ravaged the hill before. The trees might have never regrown, resulting in the lack of trees in the forest.

Aside from the view and the room, Broga Hill comes with a myriad of activities that you can take part in. For the family package, you get to take part in some fun activities including the watchman tower wall climbing, kayaking, Broga Hill hiking and sky lantern release.

As you climb the vertical tower wall in watchman tower wall climbing, veer your path and make your way around the obstacles as you compete with fellow climbers on who could reach the top first. Grab on to the window frames, wooden logs and car tires on the wall and aim for the top. Of course, feel free to include mom and dad as well because there are 6 lanes available for you to compete with each other for some good fun!

You can also go for a kayak in the shallow man-made pool by the cafeteria. Each kayak can sit up to two people so row your boat around and practice your boat rowing and navigation skill around the pool with your family. You’ll be surprised at just how challenging kayaking could be, especially when it comes to synchronising your direction!

Of course, Broga Hill itself is open for you to go on some exciting hike together. From the hill, you can catch the sunrise as you face the ocean and greet the day with your family. Watch as the night slowly turns to day and the cool evening wind blows warmer with the rising of the golden sky. What else spells a perfect way to spend the early morning than this?

Finally, do not miss out on releasing some sky lantern onto the night sky as you write your wish and light the small candle on the opening of the paper lantern. You can wish for anything too. Maybe this is a good time to wish for that new game console. Still, do not forget to also wish for prosperity and health for your family. Watch as the lantern slowly rises into the sky and brings your wish to fruition.

While you are free, do spare some of your time to walk around the vicinity of Broga Hill. You will chance upon many other beautiful views, different room types and have the chance to make new friends with fellow travellers who are there with their families as well. Broga Hill also serves as the filming spot for the local movie “Ola Bola”. If you are familiar with the movie, you can go on your own adventure to see if you can identify the different spots around the resort where the filming actually took place.
