Journey around Lombok to visit popular tourist destinations such as Taman Narmada, Gili Trawangan and Banyumulek Village.
Day 1 – Lombok / Mataram
Arrive at Lombok International Airport and be greeted by your tour guide before starting your tour. Your first stop is to Mayura water palace, built in 1744 and was part of the magnificent Balinese Kingdom. Stroll through this majestic palace which floats on an artificial lake. Then head to Mandalika market, the biggest traditional market where you can buy all sorts of things ranging from daily groceries like fruits or spices and other daily necessities. You’ll also get to visit Taman Narmada built in 1727 by King Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Asem which served as a garden for a place of worship and it was believed the spring water could grant the eternal youth for believers. Your last stop of the day is the Lingsar temple which symbolizes the harmony and unity of the Hindu and Muslim religions as both are able to come together at this temple to pray together. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before driving to your hotel.
Day 2 – Gili Trawangan
Have breakfast at your hotel before going to Batu Bolong Temple which is a beautiful Hindu temple that’s situated on a rock formation overlooking the sea. Then continue on to Pusuk pass, a magnificent tropical rainforest with a panoramic view of the lush hills and valleys surrounding the forest. Get to see wild monkeys up close as they wait to be fed by you. Board an outrigger boat and sail to Gili Trawangan, the largest of the three islands in Lombok. With its beautiful, sandy beaches and crystalline waters, you’ll definitely have a blast as you swim or snorkel at the island. You’ll make a stop for a photo-op at Malimbu Hill before heading back to your hotel for the night.
Day 3 – Bumi Gora / Sasak
Embark on a cultural tour as you visit Banyumulek Village, famous for its traditional pottery where you’ll get to see demonstrations of the local crafters making these beautiful pottery creations. Your next stop is Sukarare Village which is well known for its traditional hand weaving. You’ll get to see how these crafters make this brightly patterned songket, ikat and sarong cloths. Continue this tour to Sade Village, the unique traditional lodge with buffalo dung floors and move on to Tanjung A’an at Kuta Beach, one of the most unspoilt beaches on this part of the island. After a full day of touring and sightseeing, its time to bid farewell to Lombok and head to the airport for your flight home.
