Tour Description:

In the city of Uong Bu in Quang Ninh lies a pathway to Yen Tu Mountain surrounded by the beauty and bounty of nature in its sides. This northeastern Vietnam mountain lies between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay, merely 40 km away from the beautiful bay. Its tranquillity and the natural surrounding make for an ideal spot for meditation, nature walk and serene exploration, the perfect spot for nature lovers and green travellers to set their feet on. In fact, you will have the chance to make your way through the dense bamboo and pine forests on your way up the cable car, visit one of the age-old Zen Buddhist pagodas and enjoy the panoramic view from the mountain as you behold the breathtaking sight before you. First thing first, you will make your way to Yen Tu Mountain. Upon your arrival to the mountain foot, you will be greeted by the lush forest and the towering pagodas and shrines before you. You will have the chance to explore them all but first, you will have to head up on a cable car ride all the way to Hoa Yen Pagoda at 534 m above sea level. From there, you will be able to see the majestic sight of the arched mountain range, two 700-year-old frangipani trees and a full view of the serene pagoda surrounding in its full bloom. Then, you will climb up to reach the Dong Pagoda to continue your sightseeing journey. At 1,068 m above sea level, the view of the mountain will greet you in full glory as the surrounding seamlessly blends in with the pagoda into a breathtaking combination. Once you are done, you will enjoy a full vegetarian cuisine at a nearby restaurant which will signal your journey.

Additionally, you may also want to come during the season of the Yen Tu Festival which takes place on the 10th day of the first lunar month and lasting all the way until the end of the third lunar month. This festival features the pilgrimage journey of Vietnam’s Zen Buddhist community to the Dong Pagoda – a full journey from the foot of the mountain to the top purely by walking.

Cancellation Policy:

• All cancellation from guest incur additional charges as follows:
• 48 hours before the departure day: 50% charge of the total tour cost.
• After 48 hours before the departure day or no-show: 100% charge of the total tour cost
• Customers cannot receive any types of compensation in the case of annulations is due to a force majeure
