Tour Description:

The Quang Nam Province is a popular retreat located just minutes away from Hoi An. Located around the coastal area, the fresh breeze from the ocean is refreshing for local inhabitants and tourists alike. Its fertile soil is also a sight to behold - you will see the verdant fields of rice and corn along the way as you cycle your way to the surrounding of Cam Thanh. You will also have the chance to witness local farmers and families tending the field together beneath the sweltering sun. The whole sight will leave you in awe as you find yourself seeing a new sight, one that is very different from the city lives in Ho Chi Minh city or Hanoi. The trip to Cam Thanh itself will take slightly longer than expected. As usual, the trip starts off smoothly on a rather easy road before turning unto bumpier roads. Along the way, keep a lookout for your surrounding as you take in the view of tall mountains on one side of the road and dense forests on the other. 

Once you have made your rounds around Cam Thanh, you will proceed to the nearby weekly market called the Xin Cheng Market. Only around on Wednesdays, this bustling and lively marketplace is the perfect place for families to come together and shop the afternoon away. Here, you will also find a selection of items up for sale such as clothes, food and even livestock. The colourful market is an ocean of congregation for village members and tourists where everyone is able to get to know each other and learn more about each other’s customs. While it is quite a familiar sight as other traditional marketplace, you may want to focus on the livestock section where cattle and horses are being displayed. The store owners will market their healthy livestock to try and get as many customers as they can - and they are proud of their animals, much like they are their own. As the afternoon draws later and as you finish your shopping, you will conclude your tour with a ride back to the city.
