Tour Description:

Arrive at the airport and be welcomed by the guide before heading off to Bandung city for your tour to begin. You’ll visit a number of historical landmarks such as the Bandung Institute of Technology which is Indonesia’s most reputable universities. Walk the campus as your guide informs you of the rich history and significance of this building. You’ll also get to visit the “Satay House” (or Gedun Sate), famous for its interesting architectural design, particularly it is centre pinnacle which resembles a satay which the building is named after. Then move on to the building which held almost 54% of the world’s population during 1955 at the Asia-Africa conference. Learn more about what was discussed at the meeting and its importance in regards to opposing colonialism. Stroll around a residential area that features many buildings that maintain the Dutch colonial architecture as your last stop. After some photo opportunities have a nice dinner before going to your hotel for the night.

The next morning, be prepared for a day marvellous sights as you head off to White Crater to witness the colourful volcanic crater lakes. These acid lakes range from blue, green and even a brown colour depending on the concentration of sulphur. Then unwind as you soak your body in the warm waters of the Ranca Upas hot springs and just feel yourself relax. Once your time at the hot springs is up you’ll get to stroll through the Ciwidey strawberry farm and you might even get to sample some of the farm’s juicy fruits. By now you’ve probably worked up an appetite which will be sated with a filling lunch at an Indonesian restaurant. Continue your day with some shopping at the popular Cihampeles Street which sells all sorts of clothing such as jeans and t-shirts. At the end of the day taste some local cuisines for dinner before retiring for the night at the hotel.

On your third day at Bandung you’ll spend the whole day shopping to your heart’s content! Visit factory outlets such as Heritage or The Summit where you can buy different branded goods at a reasonable price. You won’t find prices like these anywhere else but in Bandung. After lunch, you’ll be brought back to the hotel where you can rest or just do your own thing. The next morning you’ll have breakfast before having to bid farewell to Bandung while on your way to the airport.
