Tour Description:

Day 1 – Denpasar/ Labuan Bajo/ Bidari or Sature Island

Land in Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo and be welcomed by a representative before being brought to your hotel. Take a short break for lunch after checking in then board a boat to Bidari Island. Feel the wind across your face as you speed along the salt water on a 30-minute boat ride to the island. Upon arrival at the island, embark on some fun in the cooling water as you snorkel in the ocean and get close to the exotic marine life. You can also just opt to lie back and enjoy the warm sun as you sunbathe on the smooth beach. Then be brought back to the hotel for rest for the rest of the day and get a good night’s rest in preparation for the next day’s activities.

Day 2 – Labuan Bajo/ Rinca Island/ Komodo Island

Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel before heading off to your first destination of the day: Rinca Island. You’ll take a boat on a 2 and a half hour’s journey to the island. Once you get there you’ll start trekking through the island’s lush forest and get to explore its diverse fauna. The most notable of all the exotic animals on the island is the Komodo dragon. The Komodo dragon is the largest living species of lizards in the world, growing as big as 3 meters. These creatures, however, are still predators with their venomous bite and dangerous tail whip so its best to keep your distance.

Then head back to the open-deck boat and set off to Kalong Island in the Komodo Islands. At Kalong Island, marvel at the hundreds of flying foxes fly out from the mangrove trees as the brilliant orange sunsets. The flying foxes are a type of large bat that is native to the islands and comes out at dusk for their hunt. You’ll get to enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset as the flying foxes set out for their hunt. After that amazing spectacle, you’ll be served dinner on the boat where you’ll also stay for the night.

Day 3 – Komodo/ Pink Beach/ Manta Point/ Labuan Bajo

Go trekking through the forests of Komodo Island to look out for the infamous Komodo dragons! Be lead by your guide through the jungle and observe the other diverse wildlife that calls the island home. Some of the animals you’ll get a chance to see are deer, wild pigs and tropical birds like the cockatoo. After your casual trek, you’ll board the boat once again and go to Pink Beach.

Arrive Pink Beach one of the major attractions at Komodo Island, famous for the natural phenomenon that causes its baby pink beaches. Being one of only seven pink beaches in the world makes it a rare sight to see! The soft pink sand is due to microscopic animals that produce a red pigment on the coral reefs. Tiny fragments of the coral then wash up on shore, mixing with the white sand making the pink colour the island is known for! At the beach, you’ll enjoy a myriad of beach activities like snorkelling or swimming or just take a relaxing nap on the beach.

Next stop, Manta Point! Get up close and personal with manta rays as you snorkel through the waters at Manta Point. You can choose to either snorkel in the water to get a really close view of the manta rays or just catch a glimpse of them from the boat itself. You’ll be served lunch on the boat so don’t worry about getting hungry. In the late afternoon, sail back to Labuan Bajo harbour where you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 4 – Labuan Bajo/ Denpasar

Enjoy a nice breakfast then proceed to a short sightseeing tour around the city. You’re first stop is Batu Cermin (also known as Mirror Stone) Cave. The limestone cave has a big hole in it where beautiful rays of light will stream in and reflect off the slick rock surfaces of the cave’s insides. The grotto contains many amazing stalactites and stalagmites. After exploring the cave, you’ll be brought to the local market to get to browse through the local goods before ending your time here in Indonesia and head to the airport at Denpasar.
