Tour Description:

Food has always been a cultural identity. Much like how Pho is unique to Vietnam or Nasi Lemak is a cultural food shared between Malaysia and Indonesia, Hue city is rich in its culinary diversity. This culinary diversity includes cakes that were once served to the royalty and other local munches that are popular among the community. You will get to experience these local delicacies as you go on this half day tour around Hue city. Explore the culture of the beautiful city through its flavours and make your way down the street as you get lost and fall in love even more with Hue city.

You can also choose to tour round the city block in one of two ways. First is by motorbike. The swiftness of a bike combined with the billowing makes for a refreshing evening that will drive your excitement to the roof. Witness firsthand the golden twilight view of Hue city and delve into the evening routine of the locals as you cruise through the nook and cranny of the city with style. If you feel a little less adventurous and would like to sit back and enjoy the ride instead, there is also the car option. Drive your way to your destination in the comfort of a car as you lay your eyes on the picturesque city.

The evening begins with some delicious Hue lemongrass skewer (nem lui). The slight sourness of the skewer makes for an irresistible savoury flavour that blends in perfectly with the meat skewer that is sure to make you crave for more. Then, after some savoury delight, please your tummy with some mini savoury pancakes (Banh Khot) before continuing your culinary journey with some Vietnamese thick noodle soup cooked with crab (banh canh tua). We know you will still crave more. So, we will continue the food hunt and go for some Hue egg-girdle cake (Banh trang trung). The simple yet pleasing taste of fried egg will give you a pleasant surprise and tantalise your tongue. Afterwards, finish the day with some Hue sweet sup (Che Hue), all coming in with 20 different flavours for you to choose from.

After a satisfying dinner and supper, return to your room happy and full as you retreat for the day.
