Explore the nooks and crannies of Ulu Tampit in this challenging canyoning experience
Ulu Tampit, also known as Lata Tampit is a 7-tier waterfall that hikers of all levels are sure to enjoy. It is listed as one of the MUST-SEE places in Janda Baik, so you know you do not want to miss this. Halfway up, you will see twin falls and pools suitable for swimming. But if you want to “go chasing waterfalls instead of the rivers and lakes that you’re used to”, going all the way up to the 7th tier is definitely the way to go. It is important to wear proper hiking or sports shoes, an extra pair of flip flops or sandals, a towel, as well as a change of clothes to properly enjoy what Ulu Tampit has to offer. You might even want to bring some snacks in a dry bag, but be watch out for the monkeys!
