Tioman Island is a small island located 32km off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the state of Pahang. It has one of the most beautiful pristine beaches and lavish nature. You can see a wide variety of flora and fauna that populate the forest. Furthermore, there is a wide selection of bio-diversity of animals that roams around the forest. In addition, Tioman Island is a seafood paradise with a huge variety of food choices that will leave you coming back for more!
Day 1 - Arrival/Check-in/BBQ Seafood Dinner
Kick start your tour by boarding a ferry that will take you from Mersing (In Johor) to Tioman Island which is just under 2 hours. Alternatively, you may also choose to get on a direct flight from Subang Airport (In Kuala Lumpur) to Tioman Island. Upon your arrival, you will need to make your way to Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort where our friendly concierge team will be awaiting your arrival and check-in. Get comfortable in your new environment in the Beach Villa and freshen up before heading down for some activities that are conducted by the resort. You may also choose to go for a scenic and tranquil walk along the beach. Breath in the fresh air and be refresh the sun dipping below the horizon. Then, head back to the resort to find that a BBQ seafood dinner that has specially prepared for you. Enjoyed the freshness and the variety of juicy seafood that is mouth-watering. After a good meal, head back to your accommodation to retire for the day.
Day 2 - Yoga by the Sea/Rainforest & Mangrove Swamp Walk/Seafood Hotpot Dinner
Start your day with the sound of roaring waves and the sun penetrating through the windows. Prepare for a fulfilling day ahead and go for a hearty breakfast that is prepared by our in-house chef. Then go for some activities that are included in the tour package.
Firstly, there is a choice of going for a yoga session that starts at 7 am on the beach. You will be treated to a wonderful sunrise in the background as you practice yoga. The session focuses more on the different stretching techniques and breathing methods to help you stretch the tense muscles and clear your mind.
In the afternoon, there will be a Rainforest & Mangrove Swamp Walk expedition which you can go for. Enjoy the sights of nature and take in the fresh air and beautiful sight of nature as you trek through the mangroves. Trek through the Mangrove with your guide when it is low tide, you will get to see the different species of animals that use the Mangrove as their habitat. Take pictures of these animals as they crawl across the shoots of the mangroves. Your guide will also spend some time to explain the different creatures that populate the mangroves.
In the evening, come back to the resort and there will be a huge seafood pot that will be ready for you. There will be a variety of different seafood choices to try and taste. Enjoy the aroma of the sea as you get the chance to taste the freshness of the hotpot. After a full meal, rest for the evening.
Day 3 Departure
On the final day, pack your luggage and check out. Head back to mainland Malaysia bringing with you all the good memories you have at Tioman Island.
