Tioman Island is known to be a dense tropical jungle that covers most of the island, and it is an area that is labelled as a protected area by the government. It is home to a huge selection of wildlife that ranges from the sea creatures in the local waters to land animals in the forest. Most tourists from all over the world go to Tioman Island for the beautiful beaches and the wonders that lie below the surface of the South China Sea. So book a trip to this majestic island today!
Day 1 - Arrival/Check-in
Start your journey by getting on a ferry that takes you from Mersing to Tioman Island that is just under 2 hours. Upon your arrival, you will need to make your way to the Paya Beach Spa & Dive Resort. Our friendly concierge team will be awaiting your arrival. Enjoy a smooth check-in process into your accommodation to the Beach Villa that we have pre-booked for you. Get acclimatize to your new environment and freshen up before heading off for your next activity. There will be an introductory Scuba Diving session which you can take part in. This scuba diving experience is very good for beginners to know more about the sport and try it out. (No diving licence is needed) After such a strenuous activity, you can head down for dinner at the resort. Dinner is done by our in-house chef and it would be a BBQ Mix Platter. Then retire for the evening as you head back to your accommodation.
Day 2 - Discover Scuba Dive/Marine Park Snorkelling
Wake up the next day to the beautiful sound of waves crashing onto the shore and prepare for the day ahead. Go for a sumptuous breakfast at the resort. With a filled stomach, you can choose to join some of the activities that are included in the tour package.
There is the option of going to Riggis land and Marine Park for a snorkelling session where you will get to discover the beauty of the coral reefs and marine life that live near the island. The snorkelling equipment will be provided by the resort you can choose from our collection. As you dive into the water, feel the comfortable rush of cold water against your skin as it takes away the sore from the sun. In the water, your eyes will be treated to a kaleidoscope of colours from the vibrant coral reefs.
You can also opt to head for a yoga session that takes place on the beach at 7 am in the morning. You will be treated to a beautiful sunrise as you do yoga in different positions. The session focuses more on the different techniques and breathing to help you stretch the tense muscles so as to relax your mind.
In the afternoon, join the Rainforest & Mangrove Swamp Walk as you take in the fresh air and sight of nature. Trek through the Mangrove with your guide when it is low tide, you will get to see the different species of animals that use the Mangrove as their habitat. Take pictures of these animals as they crawl across the shoots of the mangroves.
In the evening, go back to the resort for a dinner that will be waiting for you. Then get a good night’s rest.
Day 3 Departure
On the final day, pack your bags and check out. Then head back to mainland Malaysia with all the good memories you have at Tioman Island.
