Tour Description:

Brace yourself for an exciting adventure of spelunking and waterfall abseiling that is sure to give you an experience of a lifetime. Peninsular Malaysia’s largest and longest cave, Gua Tempurung has been in existence for longer than 10,000 years. This popular majestic cave is home to gorgeous stalagmites and stalactites which you can witness as you venture through the caves. These extravagantly unique limestone formations and its speleological wonders have made Gua Tempurung a famous spot for cave enthusiasts from all around the world.

Get up early in the morning and start your adventure off with a drive to the mouth of Gua Tempurung. Before starting your adventure, we will get registered and meet the experienced guide that will lead us through the majestic caverns. For your own safety and comfort, ensure your shoes have a proper grip to prevent slipping on the damp surroundings. Gua Tempurung consists of 5 wonderful caverns that are home to the unique limestone formations. Our experienced guide will lead us to witness the stunning Golden Flowstone and point out the names that are given to the fascinating limestone formations. Waterproof cameras or cameras with waterproof casings are recommended so that your camera stays safe as you snap away at the breathtaking sights around you. Before heading on to our next stop, we will make a stop for some lunch to replenish our energy.

Upon arrival at Ulu Geruntum, we will journey by foot to the abseiling destination. A professional guide will conduct a safety briefing and prepare you for what is to come. Once the guide leads you through the functions of your equipment and you are all geared up, get ready for some physically challenging fun ahead! If you have a fear of heights, assistance from professional abseilers would be provided upon request. A short demonstration will be performed and then it is time for you to challenge yourself as you descend the waterfall. Feel the cool water rush over you as you make your way down. After several attempts, your confidence will grow and you will be able to abseil down like a pro. Enjoy the beauty of nature to the fullest before we head back to the city.

• Those with serious claustrophobia should refrain from going further than the ‘show’ caves

• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
