Tour Description:

Your adventure begins with a ride to the adventure cam[ that is located 30 minutes away along the banks of the beautiful Nam Khan river. Aboard a boat where you will cross the river to the other side, which is the starting point of the trek through the lush green forest. The trek through the beautiful jungle will be a relatively easy one where you will revel in the serene atmosphere of the jungle as you hear the sounds of birds, insects and other animals that reside in the jungle creating a harmonious tune. Along the trek, you will stumble upon a large, traditional Khmu village that is safely located in the mountains.

The Khmu people are indigenous that reside in the northern part of Laos in the more mountainous regions where they are involved in swidden agriculture. The Khmu tribe prefer to live in places of average altitude that is most prefered for their agriculture. After an exhausting trek along the trail, you will then enjoy a delicious lunch where you will have a chance to taste the wonderful flavours of Laos. Your journey continues to the stunning Tad Sae Waterfall that is located 1.5 hours away from the village that is along a beaten trail through the beautiful natural forest. The perfect time to visit the Tad Sae Waterfall is during the wet season where you will have a chance to see the waters flowing through the limestone formations and into larger pools below. Take a dip in the cool waters below the waterfall which will surely leave you feeling refreshed. After visiting the Tad Sae waterfall, you will board along the traditional longtail boat for a momentary cruise downriver where you will bask in the natural beauty of Mother Nature’s creation. Your adventure approaches an end as you hop on a car to take you back to the main city of Luang Prabang.
