Tour Description:

Experience yourself the Stand Up Paddling water sport that is fast becoming one of the nation’s favorite! A sport that is believed to have originated from Hawaii, this leisure sport is spreading its influence among the water sports lover out there who seek for a different form of adventure on the water. Almost similar to surfing, SUP requires manual paddling, which you will be learning in this class. Besides, SUP is the ideal water sport to be practiced on the Singapore’s bright and warm weather.

Make your way to the Adventure Paddlers@Ohana on Pasir Ris Beach where your lesson will be conducted. This fun introduction to SUP will be kicked off by the professional instructor once you and the rest of the group participants are ready. Be exposed to various techniques of proper paddling, balancing, surfing the waves, turning as well as the basic ocean safety. Learn more about the sports and how you will benefit from the sports as a form of exercise. You will be assured with the most resourceful 2 hours of the day as you learn new skills and knowledge.

Once you are confident enough, it is time to take your skills to the next level as you paddle swiftly with what you have learned earlier. Being a beginner to this, you don't have to fear about failing as it is all part of the learning process! When you have mastered the basics, enjoy getting in tune with the water by just using a board, paddle stick and your newly adapted skills. SUP is the ideal leisure sport that is very suitable for the Singapore’s flat water. Once you have picked up the relevant skills, this sport might even be your next hobby in no time.

Additional Information:

• Registered name of the traveler must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveler fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• Minimum 5 participants for class to be confirmed
• You are advised to wear comfortable sports wear such as Rashies and board shorts. Bikinis and bare-bodies are are also acceptable but is advised to put on sunscreen
• Bring along your own hat, sunglasses, cash, waterproof bag, waterproof phone case and drinking water
• In the event of bad weather, the class or tour can be postponed to a fine weather day or re-schedule prior

• Lessons are available on any morning between Monday-Saturday
