Tour Description:

Is it not interesting that compared to the vacant and seemingly borderless outer space, we actually know less about our own ocean? Of course, factoring in the immense water pressure, the rough terrain of the underwater filled with rocks and sharp edges, the darkness of the deep ocean and the technological limitations of our marine technology, it is not surprising why we only know so little about our own ocean floor. But that does not always have to be the case. In fact, with what we have, we have made way more progress in mapping our ocean floor in the past century than we ever did before. That is why, it is only fair for you to enjoy some of this extraordinary marvel for yourself as well. That is what this whole tour package is designed to give.

Your sea exploration journey can start with the Celebes Sea. In fact, this tropical water is blessed with much of nature’s bounty and you will find that its surrounding islands share this very similarity as well. The ocean residence includes manta rays and marlin, tuna and eagle rays roaming around the water of the ocean. If you are lucky, you may even get the chance to observe them up close and personal as they take a break near you. Up on the surface, the three islands are a sight to behold themselves. Sipadan Island is known as a diver’s and nature lover’s paradise due to the sheer concentrated diversity of the island and its surrounding water. Kapalai Island reflects the beauty of an aged-old architecture when assimilated into the modern era and Mabul Island is a paradise for you who wants a quality stay. How can you say no when you are simply being given so many fun and joy to choose from? Ocean exploration has truly never been this fun.

Your junior cottage is situated just behind the dive centre. Occasionally, the compressor from the dive centre might be a tad loud but more often than not, it is usually still within the tolerance level. Your cottage will have two single beds which is just nicely fitted into the interior of the room. Due to its size, there is no more room for extra bed but this room is perfect if you are travelling light and quick. With a view of the village or the island, this semi detached room also shares the balcony with the neighbouring room. This way, you can say hi to your neighbour when you wake up and stretch yourself up in the morning. Who knows, you may make yourself a new friend along the way too!

For cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour date will incur a 30% cancellation fee from the total package price.

• Transfer duration above are estimated and subject to traffic and weather condition, and not inclusive of any sightseeing

• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Guests are advised to go for a medical check-up and arrive in good conditions. In the event of unexpected health problem after the booking has been made, please include a doctor’s official letter in order to keep the booking postponed for one year maximum
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• Note: Starting from 1st September 2017, a tourism tax of RM10 per room per night will be imposed on non-Malaysian tourists for all types of hotels and accommodations. This is payable to the hotel upon check-out
• Diving in Sipadan requires a special permit (limited to only 120 divers a day). Guests who opt for diving in Sipadan will be required to obtain the permit from the resort front desk at RM40 per person, per day
• It would not be possible for us to do transfer directly to the resort on the same day if the arrival is late as it would be dark (after 1600PM at Semporna) for the boat transfer and is not advisable for safety reason. It is recommended to take the flight before 1400PM to arrive at Tawau Airport for direct transfer to Sipadan Water Village Resort
