Tour Description:

The brilliance of the Celebes Sea is not something you get to see everyday. Even from afar, the beauty of the sea is apparent. Crashing waves followed by the powerful roar of the ocean wind make for a memorable experience and a sight to behold. Even then, that is simply scratching the mere surface of the ocean because the magic actually lies underneath - inside the surface of the cool fresh water and all the way into the ocean floor. As you dive straight into the Celebes Sea, you will be greeted by the colourful fishes which have made the ocean home for themselves. So come along and explore the backyard of these magnificent creatures up close on a trip of a lifetime.

As you journey your way straight into the deep ocean of the Celebes Sea, you will start to appreciate just how beautiful it is. The ocean floor is lined with colourful coral reefs growing in huge quantity which house the many small fishes and younglings that have called the place home. The corals provide a symbiotic benefit for the fish as the corals protect them while the fish brings in food and scrapes of their food which feed the corals. This strong bond between the corals and the fishes have been nurtured over many years and we would like to advise you to be careful so as to not damage the corals along the way.

When you resurface, you can also enjoy some sunbathing by the seaside. Get that beautiful tan that you have always wanted by setting up your towel or beach chair at a strategic location by the beach where the sun shines at just the right intensity. For your children, the sandy white beach makes for a fun place to play some sand castle building. Or, if they want to, they can always go for a quick dip in the sea in order to quell the afternoon heat away. All things considered, you are guaranteed a whole package of fun whether you are an adult or a child.

Your junior cottage will provide you with the rest you deserve after a full day’s fun. As it is located just behind the dive centre, the location of your cottage provides for an easy access to the diving centre for your diving adventure. Sometimes, the compressor may be a tad loud but worry not as it usually goes unnoticed anyway. Inside your room, you will see two single beds nicely fitted into the room. Due to its size, however, you will not be able to fit any more additional bed. This room is appropriate for you if you are travelling light or are there on a backpacking adventure around Malaysia. Also, you will be sharing your balcony with your neighbouring room so you will have the chance to say hello and strike up a conversation with fellow travellers early in the morning as well. Who knows, they just might give you some good tips on what to look out for during your dive into the ocean.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour date will incur a 30% cancellation fee from the total package price.

• Non Malaysian (Foreigners) - RM 10.00 per person / per trip (with foreign passports). Child below 11 years old – RM5.00 per person

• Transfer duration above are estimated and subject to traffic and weather condition, and not inclusive of any sightseeing

• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Guests are advised to go for a medical check-up and arrive in good conditions. In the event of unexpected health problem after the booking has been made, please include a doctor’s official letter in order to keep the booking postponed for one year maximum
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• Note: Starting from 1st September 2017, a tourism tax of RM10 per room per night will be imposed on non-Malaysian tourists for all types of hotels and accommodations. This is payable to the hotel upon check-out
• Diving in Sipadan requires a special permit (limited to only 120 divers a day). Guests who opt for diving in Sipadan will be required to obtain the permit from the resort front desk at RM40 per person, per day
• It would not be possible for us to do transfer directly to the resort on the same day if the arrival is late as it would be dark (after 1600PM at Semporna) for the boat transfer and is not advisable for safety reason. It is recommended to take the flight before 1400PM to arrive at Tawau Airport for direct transfer to Sipadan Water Village Resort.
