Tour Description:

Beauty is hardly enough to describe the sheer awe you will feel when you find yourself at the Celebes Sea. The vast blue ocean right in front of you spans as far as the eyes can see. Not only that, you will find that surrounding islands found close to your accommodation have their own stories behind how they came to be as they are today. During your stay at the island, you will get the chance to explore up to three different islands and their surrounding waters - Mabul, Sipadan and Kapalai. Each of them will have their own uniqueness so be sure to spare your time to learn more about what each island has to offer.

Mabul Island is where you will be staying at and is known for its quality accommodation and top-notch service when it comes to residency. With a deluxe cottage, you are sure to enjoy what the room has in store for you. Also known as the honeymoon suite, the deluxe room comes with your own king size bed and your personal bathtub. There are also only two units available - one is a sea view room while the other is an island view room so be sure to book as fast as possible as you may miss out on the room once it is fully booked for. Pick your preference and experience the comfort of your own suite as you pamper yourself with some delicious food and a relaxing bath after a whole day’s adventure. Plus, you will greet the morning with some beautiful scenery from your front porch and window which will give you that extra kick you need to kickstart a full day’s journey around the sea.

You will be able to also take a boat ride to the two sister islands during your stay. Kapalai Island has a strong cultural root and you will see that the design of the resort on the island itself reflects this cultural significance. Strike up a conversation with the staff at the resort and you will come to learn just how the resort implements both the cultural impact on architecture to modern day building design to create their own craft. Then, as you go to Sipadan Island, the main attraction will be underwater. Beautiful corals line up the ocean floor while colourful fishes swim in school around you. You may notice that you do not know some of the fishes and that is fine. This is because Sipadan Island’s marine diversity is comparable to Galapagos Island in the sense that it is also likely to have more than 450 fish species in the water. So, when you dive down into the Celebes Sea, you are literally entering a whole different fish sanctuary where you will come to know more about the different species you have never encountered before

For cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour date will incur a 30% cancellation fee from the total package price.

• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Guests are advised to go for a medical check-up and arrive in good conditions. In the event of unexpected health problem after the booking has been made, please include a doctor’s official letter in order to keep the booking postponed for one year maximum
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• Note: Starting from 1st September 2017, a tourism tax of RM10 per room per night will be imposed on non-Malaysian tourists for all types of hotels and accommodations. This is payable to the hotel upon check-out
• Diving in Sipadan requires a special permit (limited to only 120 divers a day). Guests who opt for diving in Sipadan will be required to obtain the permit from the resort front desk at RM40 per person, per day
• It would not be possible for us to do transfer directly to the resort on the same day if the arrival is late as it would be dark (after 1600PM at Semporna) for the boat transfer and is not advisable for safety reason. It is recommended to take the flight before 1400PM to arrive at Tawau Airport for direct transfer to Sipadan Water Village Resort
