Tour Description:

Located off the East Coast of Malaysia, Pulau Tioman is acclaimed as a geological and ecological paradise with its white sandy beaches, incredible marine life and lush rainforests. As one of Malaysia’s most popular tourist destinations, snorkelling and diving prove to be the most sought-after activity on the island due to its abundance and variety of marine life. The island’s local wrecks and caverns prove to be a haven for colourful coral gardens, tropical fishes and unique crustaceans. Get ready to swim with a huge variety of tropical reef fish, turtles, sharks, cuttlefish and search for nudibranchs in one of the best macro spots in the world!

Except on the arrival day, our daily dives begin at 8:30 am where we will head out to some of Pulau Tioman’s best dive sites. The diving time will be about 50 minutes, and you will be served a local lunch at one of the smaller surrounding island, called Coral Island. While resting, you have the option of snorkelling around the island or even just sunbathe on the beach before we resume our second dive of the day at a different site. Explore the depths and come in contact with curious sea turtles, majestic black-tip reef sharks and the many tropical fishes swimming all around the colourful corals!

Once you’ve had your fill of diving, the island is for you to explore! Plenty of footpaths connect the various villages and jungles that are great for a hike. These walks offer wonderful opportunities to do some wildlife watching with reptiles and monkeys going about the island. You can even take a jungle hike to the Asah Waterfall at the island’s most southern tip! If you are lucky, you might even catch sight of the elusive Rafflesia Flower that has been recently found growing on the island’s backyard of hills!

• From 14 to 8 days before arrival of guests:70% of the trip's full price forfeited
• 7 days or less before arrival of guests: 100% of the trip's full price forfeited

• Mersing: MYR 10.00 for locals, MYR 50.00 for foreigners

• Malaysian Tourism Tax of MYR 10.00 per room per night for foreigners (payable at the resort)
