Tour Description:

As the largest island in Vietnam, Phu Quoc has its share of beautiful scenery and thriving industries waiting to be discovered. While the south is famous for its pearl industry, the north is more commonly known for its agricultural produces such as the Phu Quoc Pepper and Sim wine. With this tour, you will have the chance to learn more about the thriving and popular agricultural industry of northern Phu Quoc and even purchase your own spices and herbs fresh from the farm. You will also have the time to visit the beautiful sandy beach of Vung Bau and relax by this secluded and lesser known coastal area. Sounds like the perfect holiday for you? Then read on! 

You will start your journey with some mouthwatering visit around Phu Quoc. Get a taste of the local fish sauce, Sim wine and pepper, all of which are famous for being the local’s best delicacy. First, you will head over to a Fish Sauce Factory and behold the production process that goes into creating the perfect sauce blend. Interestingly, you will also see that the sauce is stored inside a brewery before being sold out in store to ensure the quality and preservation of the produced sauce. As one of Phu Quoc’s most treasured and sought-after delicacies, Phu Quoc nuoc mam (fish sauce) is a staple for your everyday meal. When you are satisfied with the tour, you will continue your way to the winery of Sim fruit. This berry is often mistaken with blueberry but upon closer inspection, you will see that the interior of the berry is actually red instead of blue. The alcohol produced from this berry also gives a uniquely fruity smell and taste to it, a good combination with dessert and for some casual cocktail night with friends. From there, you will make your next journey to Phu Quoc Pepper Farm. This versatile pepper is used in many local dishes and in the farm, you will learn how to cultivate and grow your own pepper. You will also learn more about the harvesting process and the nutrients involved in ensuring the best quality of the pepper. Even better, you can also purchase your own pepper and bring it home from the farm. 

After the culinary experience, you will learn about the history and culture of Phu Quoc with a visit to Nguyen Trung Truc Temple, a building dedicated to Vietnam’s most renowned hero for his fight in fending off French colonization back in the 1800s. Then, visit the farthest point to the west of the island, Ganh Dau Cape. From here, you will be able to feast your eyes on the lovely scenery of the crystalline ocean and Cambodia from afar. From there, you will head for lunch at Vung Bau Beach where you will also have the option to swim and relax on this secluded beach. WIth that done, you will finally conclude your tour and return to your hotel to retire for the day.

• 48 hours before the departure day: 50% charge of the total tour cost.
• After 48 hours before the departure day or no-show: 100% charge of the total tour cost
• Customers cannot receive any types of compensation in the case of annulations is due to a force majeure
