Tour Description:

Did you know that the name of Perhentian Island is actually a local Malaysian name? Perhentian means stopping point in English and it is not surprising the island is dubbed as a stopping point. This picturesque island had been used by traders travelling from Malaysia to Bangkok as a place to rest during their journey since the day of yore. It is only until recently that this island has been open for public as well. Now, with it being accessible, you will see why the old folks actually make this island their stopping point. From the stunning view to the comfort of the beachside resort, you are in for a whole package of luxury and quality vacation like you have never had before.

Nature plays a huge part in the tourism here in Perhentian Island. Why would it not be? The jungle and the beachfront of the island is teeming with natural wonders and all you would expect on a dream nature tourism. Snorkel your way around the island as you get to know more about the inhabitants of the ocean up close and personal. Say hi to fishes swimming nearby and snap your cameras away at the beautiful and colourful fishes roaming round the cool tropical water. Alternatively, you may also want to go on your own jungle trekking around the island’s tropical jungle. Be careful though, mosquitoes are rampant around the area so be sure to stock up on that insect repellent for the extra protection you may need inside the jungle. Plus, the sunlight can get pretty unforgiving so be sure to bring your sun lotion with you as well.

Comes with both an air conditioning and a fan unit, the premier garden room is also complete with your very own refrigerator. • Boat schedule: Kuala Besut - Resort - 8:00 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm / Resort – Kuala Besut - 8:00 am, 12:00 pm
• Boat transfer is subject to change without prior notice depending on the weather condition
• Touching or standing on coral damages or even kills them and re-growth takes years
• Control your buoyancy carefully. Use a life jacket and only use fins if you are completely confident that you will not accidentally touch the coral
• Do not litter. Some animals (like turtles) may mistake plastic bags for food and choke to death
• Stay within the designated areas so that you do not cross boat paths and get hit
• Do not touch or disturb any marine life in any way. You may hurt them and some of them may hurt you
• Keep your distance from Triggerfish as they may be aggressive, especially when guarding a nest
• Keep yourself protected from the sun
• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• Note: Starting from 1st September 2017, a tourism tax of RM10 per room per night will be imposed on non-Malaysian tourists for all types of hotels and accommodations. This is payable to the hotel upon check-out
