Tour Description:

While Cambodia has its famous Angkor Wat, Vietnam has the magnificent My Son as its counterpart. This complex of Hindu temples has been built since the 4th century and was partially ruined as it withstand bombings during the Vietnam War. If you are curious to know more about the ancient ruins of My Son, this cycling tour will definitely be suitable for you! Besides uncovering the hidden treasure of Vietnam, you can also admire the beauty of the countryside.

Our journey begins when we pick you up from your hotel in Da Nang and transfer you to meet our guide in Hoi An. After a quick briefing and bike fitting, we will set off to the historical district of Hoi An through its quaint alleyways. As it is still early in the morning, we could savour the serene medieval charm of Hoi An without the noisy flock of tourists. We will continue to cycle across the river and venture off to the rural paths leading to the countryside. As the landscape begins to change, we will pedal pass the villagers who are working at the vast paddy fields and stunning sunflower farms.

Before we head towards My Son, we will have a short snack break to recharge our energy. Next up, we continue riding towards the ancient ruins. Once we arrive, we will park our bikes at the main ruins and transfer to the electric trams for exploration within the complex. My Son sanctuary consists of more than 70 Hindu temples constructed during the era of Cham Kingdom. As we roam around this 142-hectare UNESCO World Heritage Site, we will discover ancient relics and learn more about this once glorified Indochine Kingdom. Get ready to be  mesmerized and transported back in time here!

After we gain new insights into the ancient history of Vietnam, we will head back to the city. Along the way, we will stop by a local restaurant to have delicious noodles. Our cycling adventure concludes as we transfer you back to your hotel in Da Nang. This informative tour is suitable for everyone who wants to discover more about Vietnam in the past.

Cancellation Policy:

• More than 7 days before departure, full refund of deposit
• From 2 to 6 days before departure, loss of 50% of deposit
• From 48 hours before the tour starts no refunds allowed
• Turning up late to the starting point of the tour for whatever reason is considered, a late cancellation and will result in a loss of all payments made
• No refund will be made should you voluntarily leave a tour early for any reason including not being able to ride a bicycle at a sufficient level
