Tour Description:

Muara Bay is located in the Laya-Laya Village in Tuaran not far from Kota Kinabalu. The place is between the sea and mangrove forest with a long stretch of pristine beach. The Muara Bay has not been discovered completely yet and this makes it less touristy than a lot of other famous beach areas in Kota Kinabalu. Visitors will be able to enjoy a much quieter and relaxing time on the beach while looking at the beautiful view of the sea. This tour will let you have an enjoyable experience in Muara Bay.

The tour will start by picking you up at 3.30 PM and then head to our first destination. Our first stop will be the Likas Mosque. The mosque is located near the sea at Likas Bay and is built on a man-made lagoon which surrounds the mosque with waters, thus giving it the nickname of “The Floating Mosque”. The mosque is a very impressive modern Islamic architecture and is very beautiful for photography. We will be here and take some great photos to bring back as memories. Then, we will depart to the Muara Bay of Laya-Laya Village in Tuaran.

After a short ride,, we will reach our destination. Then, we will hop on a boat and take a ride to the beach at Muara Bay. Once we arrived at the beach, light refreshments will be served as you enjoy yourselves at the beach. The sun will start to set slowly. The beach offers an amazing unblocked view of the beautiful sunset. After the sunset, a delicious buffet dinner will be served. Other than that, you will also be able to witness the fire dance and snake performance up close during this tour.

Next, after the dinner, you will be onboard to watch fireflies light up the night by the river banks. The view of fireflies lighting up the atmosphere will certainly leave you in awe as these tiny bugs surround you. You will relax as you enjoy your view before the end of the tour. We will transfer back to Kota Kinabalu and expected to reach at approximately 8.30 PM.
