Tour Description:

Day 1 – Solo / Samiran Village / Basecamp / Savanna 2

Embark on a journey to Mount Merbabu, a dormant stratovolcano that is located in Central Java province on the Indonesian Island of Java. Experience the cool air on your skin as you arrive at the Samiran village that located at the base of the mountain. The strong community life of the locals can be observed while being surrounded by the captivating rich green scenery. Venture further into the mountain to the base camp by bike and then take the time to replenish your energy from your exhausting ride up. When prepared, you will trek up to Savanna 2 point where you will be surrounded by rich vegetations growing healthily. The picturesque landscape will catch your breath. You will then make camp in the area for the night where you will replenish your energy for the trek up to the peak of the summit the following day.

Day 2 – Summit / Savanna 2 / Gancik route / Samiran Village/ Solo

The journey begins again where you will conquer up to the summit of the Mount Merbabu. The endless luscious green surrounds you as you feel the cool breeze on your skin on your way to the peak of the mountain. Before you know it, you will reach the top where you will admire the sight of the neighbouring mountains with clouds circulating around the mountains. Take a breath of fresh air as you conquered the mountain. Make your trek back down to Savanna 2 then trek through Gancik route. Admire the striking view of Mount Merbabu and Mount Merapi in the background from Gancik Hill. Take a break before you carry on your journey to the finish line. Then, you will en route to the scenic Samiran village again from Gancik Hill on a motorbike whilst admiring your beautiful surrounding. Your journey ends with a final drive to Solo after a two-day adventure!
