    Tour Description:

Meet at the hotel lobby at 8.30 am where you will then depart to Jesselton Point Jetty to embark on a relaxing boat ride to Manukan Island. Manukan Island is the second largest island in Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park and resides in Sabah, just off the coast of the state capital- Kota Kinabalu. Before you make your way to the island a guide will be there to brief you on all the necessary details while you gear up and do last minute equipment checks. Once you’ve received your safety briefing from the experienced guide you’ll be on your way to the beautiful island of Manukan.

Enjoy a relaxing kayak ride while you paddle across the sparkling ocean towards Magic Coral Island which is roughly a 40-minute paddle. Feel no rush as you move through the water at your own pace, enjoying the movement of the ocean and freshness of the salt water. Upon arrival at the island, you can put on your snorkel gear and dive into the turquoise tinted water. Savour the peacefulness as you swim amongst the beautiful and vibrant fishes, channelling your inner Ariel as you glide through the water like a mermaid.

If you want to get even more up close and personal with the sea life, you can immerse yourself in the clear ocean by Sea Walking. This new, popular underwater activity allows you to walk along the seabed with just a helmet on your head. While you descend into the cooling water, oxygen is pumped into your helmet and the air pressure prevents any water from entering. You might feel like your ears are blocked similarly to when flying in the air but it's not a problem and you can simply unblock them like you normally would.

After working up an appetite you can paddle on back to Mamutik Island where you will enjoy a hearty BBQ lunch. Once your stomachs are full and happy you have a few hours to be left to your own devices to explore the island or just relax on the warm, sandy beach. Enjoy a stroll along the wide sandy beach or get your tan on under the heat of Malaysia’s tropical sun. Close your eyes and lay back, let the soothing sounds of the waves and the peaceful quiet of the sparsely inhabited island to lull you to sleep. Once you’ve enjoyed a relaxing break you’ll paddle back to Manukan Island and get back on a boat to the mainland where its time to say goodbye.
