Tour Description:

Kick back your feet and lounge on the pristine sandy beaches of Mabul on your stay at Mabul Beach Resort. Experience snorkelling in the crystalline waters of both Mabul and Kapalai to get some of the best underwater experiences available in Malaysia. Both sites offer up rare and exotic marine life for your viewing pleasure as you snorkel around their reefs. Swim above Mabul’s reefs and be delighted by the vibrantly colourful coral and unique sea creatures that swim by them.

Admire the vivid colours of the parrotfish and be entranced by the schools of silver barracudas that will swirl in a whirlpool as they travel. Friendly and curious sea turtles may swim by you as you snorkel through the water, an odd-looking sea creature to their eyes. Savour every single minute you spend in the beautiful waters, as you will only be able to peek into the underwater kingdom for the short duration of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. When you’re not in the water, lounge on Mabul’s beach and bask in the warmth of the sun to get into the true summer mood.

The third point of the Golden Triangle in Borneo is Kapalai, where resorts have built upon its sandbar to create a man-made island. In front of the resorts lies an artificial reef where majestic sea creatures make their comfortable habitat and thrive. This abundance of biodiversity here contributes to the common sightings of giant sea turtles. Enjoy snorkelling at Kapalai, too, as the marine life you will see here differs a little from Mabul’s, and is definitely not to be dismissed either.

• Boat transfer information:
• Guests catching the 8:00 am boat to Mabul will need to overnight in Semporna the night before their package
• Guests catching our 2:30 pm boat to Semporna will need to land in Tawau no later than 12:00 pm
• Guests transferring back to Semporna at 10:30 am can catch any flight leaving 3:00 pm or later
• Guests transferring back to Semporna at 4:00 pm can catch any flight leaving 8:00 pm or later
• Divers must wait 18 hours between diving & flying
• Please adhere to strict pick-up time punctuality. Tour operators may forfeit tours for travellers if no-show during stipulated time
• Registered name of the traveller must be corresponding with photograph documentation (Example: Passport). Tour operators reserve the right to reject if registered traveller fails to provide photographed documentation of their own
• Note: Starting from 1st September 2017, a tourism tax of RM10 per room per night will be imposed on non-Malaysian tourists for all types of hotels and accommodations. This is payable to the hotel upon check-out
