Tour Description:

Located 45 minutes away by a boat ride from the main island of Tawau, Mabul island has one of the most beautiful pristine and clear waters that Malaysia has to offer. Spend the day diving in these crystal-clear waters and capture the amazing underwater life and the vibrant colours of the coral reefs. It is called the paradise for divers as it is easy to navigate and enjoy the sights. Mabul and Kapalai have something installed for every diver from amateurs to advance divers to enjoy. The tour starts with meeting up with our friendly and experienced guides who will be waiting for your arrival. You will then be directed to have a short briefing on the line up of events for the day and there will be a short safety briefing. Next, you will get to choose your diving equipment from a series of Well-maintained gears. Before moving on for the dive, there will be a local delicacy that will be prepared for you for lunch. Get a taste of these special dishes that are crafted from the island’s local produce.

A final check of the weather conditions and after suiting up, you are all ready to go out to sea.  Take the plunge into the cold water of the sea as it cools you down from the scorching sun shining behind your back. As you descend into the deeper depths, you will get to see a greater variety of marine life and more stunning coral reefs. You will also get to see some wooden structure that has been placed underwater to help to grow the natural habitat of marine life. It is a night to remember.

After a dive, you will hop back on the motorised boat and head to the next island of Kapalai. There, you will get to see more marine life and coral reefs that are equally beautiful. However, Kapalai’s waters are much shallower and it spreads across a greater area which makes it a larger playground for divers to explore its beauty. Do remember to whip out your underwater cameras to take the record down this momentous event.

Finally, upon returning, do not forget to take a group photo of the newfound friends that you have made on this unforgettable adventure!
