Tour Description:

Embark on a journey to the lively Morning Market that is situated in Luang Prabang where you will witness the heavy crowds of people that are buying and selling goods along the street. Behold the sight of interesting goods that are sold in the market, which includes fresh fruits and vegetables to even the peculiar live frogs. Escape from the hectic Morning Market and make your way to the serene atmosphere of the Wat Mai. The Wat Mai is the largest temple in Luang Prabang and it is beautifully decorated with intricate murals and golden Buddha statues when the temple was built in the 18th century. Admire the glorious Emerald Buddha statue that is situated within the interior of the temple.

Your journey continues to the National Museum, that was previously the humble abode of the Lao King, where you will learn about the culture, history and the people of Laos. Gaze at a wide range of ancient artefacts and photographs which illustrates Laos’ rich history. Make your way to the Wat Xieng Thong temple, that is known for its magnificent beauty and the temple can be characterized by the unique Luang Prabang architectural style and it features a wide array of masterpieces that is all around the temple. Along the way to the falls, you will encounter an interesting Hmong Culture Museum that will give you an abundance of knowledge on the Hmong ethnic group, from their crafts, lifestyle and culture.

Hear the sounds of moving waters as you approach the Kuang Si waterfall, which is the largest water in Luang Prabang. The three-tiered waterfall is 50 meters high to the spectacular blue pool that flows downstream. You will be provided with a delectable lunch that will replenish your energy after an exhausting journey. Take a dip into the cool pool to refresh and reinvigorate your body or take the chance to explore the beautiful jungle trails where you will discover a wide range of flora and fauna. Stroll to the Bear Rescue Center that is a stone’s throw away from the Kuang Si Waterfall. Interact with the adorable Asian black bear that resides in the sanctuary where they are free to roam all around the sanctuary.

• This tour requires a minimum of 2 pax for the tour to be confirmed
• The Unexploded Ordnance Museum opens only on the weekdays and the Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre opens from Tuesday to Sunday, excluding Monday

• The dry season of the waterfall is from February to August
• Transfer duration above are estimated and subject to traffic and weather condition, and not inclusive of any sightseeing tours
