Experience beautiful sights of Lombok and her traditional cultures as you visit Mayura water palace, Batu Bolong Temple and Sukarare village.
Day 1 – Lombok / Mataram
Disembark from your plane at the Lombok International Airport where you’ll be welcomed by your tour guide for the rest of the trip. Start your adventure with a visit to Mayura water palace, built in 1744 and stroll through this floating palace over an artificial lake. Your next stop is Mandalika market which is the biggest traditional market where locals commonly shop for their daily groceries or necessities. Then move on to Taman Narmada which was built in 1727 and served as a magnificent garden for a place of worship and it was believed that the spring water at this garden could grant the eternal youth for believers. The last stop of the day is the Lingsar temple which is a hindu temple where Muslim individuals are welcomed to come and pray together. This temple serves as a symbol of harmony and unity between the two religions. Once your stomach starts grumbling, you’ll be served lunch at a local restaurant before being brought to your hotel.
Day 2 – Gili Trawangan
After breakfast at the hotel you’ll head to Batu Bolong Temple for a peaceful stroll through this amazing Hindu temple. This temple is situated on a rock formation which has a beautiful view of the crystalline ocean. Your next destination is to Pusuk pass, a lush tropical rainforest with a panoramic view of the beautiful hills and valleys. The forest is abundant with wildlife such as wild monkeys which stay around the area looking for food to eat. Then board an outrigger boat and sail off to Gili Trawangan, the largest of the three islands in Lombok. You’ll be able to swim or snorkel in these crystalline waters or relax on the sandy beaches. Make a stop at Malimbu Hill for some Instagram worthy photos before heading back to your hotel for the night.
Day 3 – Bumi Gora / Sasak
Start your day with a visit to Banyumulek Village which is famous for its traditional pottery made by local crafters. Observe these beautiful handmade pottery creations as you tour this amazing village. Then head to Sukarare Village, well known for its traditional hand weaving where the crafters make brightly patterned goods such as songket, ikat and sarong cloths. Continue to Sade Village, a unique traditional lodge with buffalo dung floors before moving to Tanjung A’an at Kuta Beach. This beach is one of the most unspoilt beaches on this part of the island and is a great time to relax. At the end of the tour, you’ll head to the airport to catch your flight home.
