Langkawi is well known for its beaches and natural ecosystem but many tend to forget the charm in meeting the local residents and experiencing their warm and friendly welcome extended to visitors. This tour enables you to experience just that as we bring you to a “kampong” to have a tea break at a local’s home. Our experienced and knowledgeable guide will also provide extensive information on the history and culture of rural Langkawi.
The last part of the tour will bring us past a mangrove forest and a rubber plantation. There will be ample opportunity of spotting many colourful birds such as Kingfishers and hornbills. Whip out your camera as the views are spectacular, especially as you cycle through green pastures spreading as far as the eye can see. Though physically taxing, this tour is ideal to enjoy calm and peaceful surroundings at your own pace.
