Tour Description:

Explore the natural habitat as the Kuala Selangor region as it houses many different migratory and local bird species. Specifically, you may consider joining us for an Eagle feeding tour to have an experience of a lifetime. Enjoy the experience of a cluster of 20-40 Eagles hovering above the sea and against the wind direction as they look for their next meal. It is a sight to take in as these beautiful creatures display strength and agility as they dive at very fast speeds to the surface of the river. The shoreline as it is filled with stunning views of mangroves that is unique to the Malayan tropics. If you have a closer look at the canopy, you will see that the Eagles have built their nest among the mangroves, truly it is nature’s beauty in the making.

The tour begins with participants meeting up at the Pasir Penambang, where you will be welcomed by our experienced and friendly tour guides. There, you can find past photos of the tour which you will be embarking on. Given that the weather condition permits you will be directed to the motorised boats which will be waiting for you at the docks.

The boat will then cruise down the river and you will be able to relax and enjoy the refreshing breeze constantly being blown in your face. Once we have reached the eagle’s habitat, the tour guide will lay out some bait out in the open water that will instantly attract the attention of the Eagles in the surrounding area. The Eagles will take to the sky and hover above the tantalizing bait that has been laid out. The graceful Eagles will come diving down to the surface to pick up the baits with their claws and it is a beautiful sight to be remembered. The whole process only lasts for a split second so do not blink your eyes and be ready with your cameras to capture the moment.

Upon returning to shore, do not forget to take a picture with your tour group and guide to remember this experience.
