Tour Description:

The Eagle Feeding tour explores the natural habitat of the Selangor River. Take delight in experiencing a cluster of 20-40 Eagles hovering above the sea and against the wind direction as they look for their next meal. It is a sight to behold as these majestic creatures display strength and agility as they dive to the surface of the river. There will be a stunning view along the shoreline as it is filled with mangroves that is unique to the Malayan tropics. If you have a closer look at the canopy, you will see that the Eagles have built their dwelling among the mangroves, truly it is nature’s beauty in the making.

The tour starts off with participants meeting up at the Pasir Penambang, where you will be welcomed by our experienced and friendly tour guides. There, you can find some souvenirs and past photos of the tour which you will be embarking on. Given that the weather condition permits you will be directed to the boats which will be waiting for you at the docks.

The boat will then cruise down the river and you will be able to sit back and enjoy the refreshing breeze constantly being blown in your face. Once we have reached the eagle’s habitat, the tour guide will lay out some bait out in the open water that will instantly attract the attention of the Eagles in the surrounding area. The Eagles will take to the sky and hover above the tantalizing bait that has been laid out. What happens next is a sight to be remembered, the Eagles will come swapping down from the sky and gracefully pick up the baits with their claws. Capture this amazing moment with your cameras for it only lasts for a split second and remember not to blink your eyes!

Upon returning to shore, do not forget to take a picture with your tour group and guide to remember this experience.
