Tour Description:

Kuala Selangor just 1 hour away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur, has its natural habitats well preserved and filled with nature’s wonders. Located at the Selangor River, you can experience both  day and night activities as well. You will be able to see the majestic Eagle in action as it attempts to fish for baits being placed on the surface of the river. Also, you will be able to view the beauty of the pitch-black night sky being illuminated by fireflies. These two activities are worthwhile and an experience of a lifetime.

The tour begins with by meeting up with our experienced and friendly tour guides at a central location in Pasir Penambang. When you have reached, you would be given a brief outline of both the activities that you will be taking part in. Furthermore, there will be a short safety briefing as well. After which, you will be directed to choose a personal floating device according to your size before heading to the respective boats that have been prepared for you. You will head to the Eagle Feeding tour before going for the Fireflies tour which will be in the evening.

Start off your packed adventure by hopping onto the boat which takes you out to a part of the mangroves that the Eagles uses as its habitat. When you are there, the guide will release some baits onto the open water that will attract the Eagles. You will see an amazing sight of these powerful creatures do a skydive to the surface of the river to take the bait. It is truly a sight to be marvelled at. Furthermore, if you look closely at the canopy of the mangroves, you will be able to see that the Eagles have created a habitat of their own.

As twilight breaks and the evening comes, the guide will take you out on the river to marvel at the firefly spectacle. Out in the open water, these tiny insects flutter about their daily routine while lighting up periodically to create an illuminated night sky. It is truly a sight to behold and take in. Do not forget to whip out your cameras to photograph these memorable memories!
