Tour Description:

Found at the intersection of the Selangor River and the Straits of Malacca, Bagan Pasir Tanjong Karang Selangor offers one of the most stunning night activities that Kuala Selangor has. Be captivated by the amazing illuminated blue sea as you set sail in the pitch-black night. These bioluminescent planktons(also known as “sea fireflies”) populates the coastal region of Kuala Selangor. They light up like a light bulb when they sense that there is a form of physical motion. Just like a mimosa flower closing upon a touch. This creates an atmosphere that is both dazzling and lively as you rest your eyes on the stunning glowing blue colour seawater that is constantly moving.

Our experienced and extremely friendly guides awaits to receive you at Kampung Sungai to start off your Blue Tears Tour. There you will be given a brief outline of the entire tour that you will be embarking on and some safety guidelines. There maybe some food stalls near by which you can cat your own expense. Once the sun has set and given good weather conditions, you will be directed to the boats that have been specially charted for you. Hop on and start your adventure. You will get to see the wonders of nature as you travel out as the bioluminescent plankton will be glowing bright blue as you cut across the sea waves.

Once out in the open sea, you will get the chance to take personalized photos with these blue glowing creatures. There, you can get up close and personal with these tiny blue creatures. You will be able to put your hands into the ocean or use some tools provided to create some ripple effects which will illuminate the seawater with sea blue colours.

On your way back to shore, you will be able to see these blue creatures gathered near the shoreline and the bright blue colour effect will keep you mesmerised making this night tour a worthwhile experience.
