Tour Description:

Venture into the beautiful Khao Sok National Park that is filled with dense native rainforests, tall limestone cliffs, beautiful waterfalls and an abundance of lowland shrubs. The Khao Sok National Park was first established in 1980 and it is located at the mainland in between Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak and Koh Samui. The abundance of rainforests in Khao Sok National Park is deemed as one of the oldest evergreen forest in the world as Thailand has been in the similar equatorial position for more than 100 million years, which allows the area to receive enough rainfall to allow the rainforests to flourish on the fertile land.

Before heading to the National Park, you will first behold the Royal Navy battleship that was uncovered when it was washed up ashore during the Boxing Day Tsunami. Then, you will make your way to the Khao Sok National Park where you will be surrounded by luscious green rainforests that provides a home for different kinds of animal species, which includes more than 40 mammal species, more than 300 species of birds and more than 30 species of bats and reptiles. Unravel the secrets of the spectacular park by exploring the environment on a beaten path where you will be brushed with nature at every corner before heading to the stunning waterfall. Then, you will delight yourself with a delectable Thai lunch where you will replenish your energy after such an exhausting journey along the trail.

Once the Sun is at the peak of the horizon, you will proceed to a thrilling canoe ride down the calm Sok river where you will gaze at dense rainforests that stretches all around you and hear the sounds of the birds singing a lovely tune, which enhances the serene ambiance of atmosphere. Capture the sights of the limestone cliffs that tower along the river and the green luscious trees that jut out of the limestone outcroppings.
